- W artykule opisano wybrane wydarzenia z historii sztuki, które doprowadziły artystów do instalacji jako środka wyrazu artystycznego. W odpowiedzi na postawione w tytule pytanie przytoczono obserwacje, które autorka poczyniła podczas wizyty w ramach programu Erasmus, w Akademii Sztuk Pięknych w Tournai. Uzasadniano celowość wykonywania instalacji podczas programu nauczania. Nawiązano do pierwotnych źródeł tworzenia sztuki, które pozostają niezmienne, bez względu na użyte środki. Instalacja jest szeroko stosowanym przez współczesnych artystów sposobem wypowiedzi. Istnieje w realnej przestrzeni, co jest niezwykle ważne w zdominowanej przez Internet rzeczywistości. This article describes selected events in the history of art that led artists to installations as a means of artistic expression. In response to the question in the title, the author refers to the observations she had made participating in the Erasmus program at the Academy of Fine Arts in Tournai. She justifies the purpose of creating the installation during the educational process. She refers to the original sources of art creation that remain unchanged, regardless of the means used. Installation is a widely used way of expression by modern artists. It exists in a real space, which is extremely important in a reality dominated by the Internet. (original abstract) - Accessibility
