- Nielegalne porozumienia przedsiębiorstw, dotyczące ustalania ceny, ograniczania produkcji lub podziału rynku zdarzają się w wielu branżach na całym świecie. Od wielu lat badacze starają się lepiej poznać tego typu alianse. Niestety nie jest to łatwe zadanie, gdyż porozumienia te są ze swej natury tajne, a w interesie członków nielegalnego porozumienia jest mówić jak najmniej o własnym kartelu. Artykuł ma na celu prześledzić historię badań nad kartelami, skupiających się na analizie przypadków i odpowiedzieć na pytanie, kiedy tego typu badania mogą być użyteczne. (fragment tekstu)
Case studies can provide us with a richer information set about cartel than cross-section studies of these illegal agreements. This article investigates some of case studies cartels. It presents a variety of facts on cartel stability, duration and profitability and tries to compare the findings of these studies with cross section results based on the literature.
