- W niniejszym artykule zaproponujemy strategie rozwoju produktów programowych, umożliwiające realizację krótko- i długoterminowych celów przedsiębiorstwa funkcjonującego w warunkach tzw. nowej gospodarki. Szeroko opisywany w ostatnim dwudziestoleciu kryzys oprogramowania wciąż trwa. Nie wiąże się on jednak teraz z niedostatkiem wydajnych rozwiązań technologicznych, lecz z brakiem zmysłu organizatorskiego i myślenia systemowego wśród kadry zarządzającej. (fragment tekstu)
In the paper two ways of software improvement are presented: a short-term strategy and a long-term strategy. For each strategy basic threats and obstacles preventing its realization are identified. In addition, some chances we present which can ease the implementation of the strategy. Similarities and differences in the strategies implementation are also described. Both the strategies are described in two versions: for component- and end-user software. Within the short-term strategy the following threats are discussed: management by sudden efforts and management by objectives. Two chances are described: extreme programming and software reengineering. Within the long-term strategy the following threats are discussed: the culture of knowledge blocking and project stage marginalization. The paper also describes two chances: management by participation and vertical-horizontal integration. (original abstract) - Accessibility
