Abstract

Omówiono zagadnienie wykorzystania przez banki spółdzielcze outsourcingu informatycznego.

The changes on the financial service market make the co-operative banks face the need to cope with the leading institutions on the market. Their extremely high financial, technological and human resources potential are the factors that make them leaders on the market. Also, they can provide IT services. The co-operative banking sector must set targets that can be fulfilled.
Not having such a large operational - IT back office, as it is the case for large financial institutions, it must choose It service outsourcing. Co-operation and outsourcing are mutually related. The co-operation is a requirement to create and use so many popular solutions and it becomes possible to reduce the costs. During negotiations of the conditions of outsourcing a mutual strengthens increases the market possession. IT service outsourcing releases the banks from the need to cope with the all the technological novelties. It is, however, the source of a threat. It is then necessary to follow certain procedures of selection and audit of the services made by foreign service company. The co-operation, so characteristic, for the cooperative banks operations, can protect them from unnecessary mistakes. (original abstract)
