Abstract
The issue of adapting enterprises to operate in accordance with the assumptions of the Industry 4.0 concept now requires performing highly complex and responsible analyses in manufacturing enterprises. Based on the Industry 4.0 concept, maintenance services and also the implemented IT solutions in a production enterprises are now a significant factor in their development process. The article presents an analysis of the degree of use of the Manufacturing Execution Sys-tem (MES) in the maintenance department based on an example of a manufacturing company in the automotive sector of this industry. The analysis was performed in terms of the degree of execution of specific business processes in the maintenance department with the help of MES. The results of the analysis allow to confirm the possibility of adapting the enterprise to the Indus-try 4.0 concept. (original abstract)
