- Abstract
- W sierpniu wartość ogólnego wskaźnika koniunktury IRG SGH (IRGIND) zwiększyła się w ciągu miesiąca o 1,3 pkt. Obecnie wynosi -10,4 pkt i jest niższa od wartości sprzed roku o 8,8 pkt. Dla sektora prywatnego wartość wskaźnika koniunktury wzrosła o 3,4 pkt i wynosi -8,9 pkt. Jest niższa niż przed rokiem o 6,5 pkt. Dla sektora publicznego wartość wskaźnika zmniejszyła się o 13,3 pkt do poziomu -21,6 pkt. Jest o 26,5 pkt niższa od wartości sprzed roku. (fragment tekstu)
In August, 2019 business situation in the manufactu ring industry hardly improved. The industrial confidence indicator (ICI RIED) monthly increased by 1.3 pts to -10.4 pts, and is now 8.8 pts down from the respective year 2018 figure. Usually, in August positive seasonal factors weaken, and changes of manufacturing activity indicators go in line with cyclical factors. This time the confidence indicator and the balances of production, producer prices and financial situation of manufacturers, though slightly, increased. On the other hand, the balances of orders, employment and opinions on general economic situation in the country quite considerably declined. Apparently, strong, negative cyclical factors, which have been noticed for many months, continue to uphold. Firms' expectations for the coming months are mixed - production and or ders are expected to rise, however, employment, financial situation and manufacturers' opinions abo ut prospects of the economy are anticipated to fall.
