Abstract
The article considers the factors influencing the formation of the modern migration situation in Transnistria, the trends of its development and socio-economic costs. Particular attention is given to the problems of the migration registration system in Transnistria. Also are presented the possible ways to optimize migration accounting in the region(original abstract)
