- Realizowany od 1.01.1999 roku nowy system ubezpieczeń emerytalnych wprowadza istotne zmiany w zasadach obliczania świadczeń emerytalnych. Tymczasem zdecydowana większość społeczeństwa nie ma świadomości jak wysokie, a raczej jak niskie otrzymają emerytury; jak niska dla wiekszości emerytów będzie - obliczona w symulacji dokonanej przez KNUiFE (Tab. nr 1.) - stopa zastąpienia. Problem ten dotyczy szczególnie wielkiej liczby kobiet, w przypadku których następuje zbieg negatywnych czynników - niskie płace, krótszy okres zatrudnienia i brak możliwości kontynuowania pracy po osiągnięciu ustawowego wieku emerytalnego. Implemented since 1 January 1999, retirement insurance system introduces significant changes in the rules of calculating the retirement benefits. While the majority of the society is not aware of how high or rather how low retirement pension they will receive, how low the replacement rate will be for most of the retirees. In particular, this problem touches a large number of women who suffer from coincidence of the negative factors - low wages, shorter employment period and no possibility to continue the work after reaching the statutory retirement age. In this situation it is necessary to undertake multilateral efforts towards the change in the awareness and expanding the knowledge on the threats and financial instruments which may mitigate efficiently the consequences of financial problems. In this process both state institutions and private financial institutions should be involved. Those activities should in particular take into consideration women who are exposed to more serious problems in the future on the one hand - due to the expected lower retirement benefits on longer life expectancy, and on the other hand, traditionally in the polish families they (original abstract) - Accessibility
