- This issue of Human Resource Management is devoted to workers, management issues, and the solving of problems making their appearance in Polish organizations over the space of the past few decades. These problems stem from changes taking place in the environment of the organizations as well as in the attitudes and aspirations of employees. These few years also encompass the transformation of scientific reflection on the practice of human resource management-the introduction of new theoretical categories and concepts making possible the understanding of the changes taking place and developing actions that are a response to the emerging challenges.
