- Gospodarka cyrkularna (lub gospodarka o obiegu zamkniętym) jest zupełnie nowym podejściem opierającym się na odejściu od modelu linearnego a przejściu na model cyrkularny. W obecnym świecie wysokich i wahających się cen zasobów, takie podejście oferuje duże możliwości. Sektor prywatny już zaczyna opierać swoje plany rozwoju na koncepcji gospodarki cyrkularnej, jednak by można było wdrożyć szerzej ten model konieczne jest wsparcie administracji publicznej. Podstawą działań powinna być: wymiana dobrych praktyk, inwestycje w sektor innowacji, współpraca między biznesem oraz należyte zbieranie danych. Rolą sektora publicznego powinno być wsparcie przechodzenia na gospodarkę o obiegu zamkniętym zgodne z obecnymi wyzwaniami środowiskowymi, jak na przykład kurczenie się zasobów(abstrakt oryginalny)
The 'circular economy' (CE) is a new approach which would transform the economy from linear to the circular. In the world of unstable and high resource prices, a CE offers huge business opportunities. Frontrunners from the private sector are leading the way on CE, nonetheless to drive broader change it is crucial to have a full support from the government. Base for this upcoming change is to spread best studies, invest in the innovation, make a proper business to business networking and collect data. The role of policy makers is to support and accelerate the transition to CE within the timeline consistent with the environmental challenges like a resource scarcity (original abstract) - Full text
