This paper explores the concepts of work and happiness. The aim of the study is to analyze social indicators, identify factors that affect life satisfaction in general, and patterns between working conditions and happiness of employees. The research was based on the results of sociological surveys of Ukrainians regarding the satisfaction of their needs. In particular, it investigates how work affects a person's happiness and identifies the basic needs of which the respondents lack.(original abstract) - Full text
