Abstract
W artykule omówiono różne metody badawcze termoplastycznych folii stretch wykorzystywane do oceny ich jakości, wskazując na zakres i ograniczenia ich stosowania. Podstawą rozważań były wymagania normy EN 14932:2018-02, która jednak nie wyczerpuje możliwości metodycznych w zakresie analiz zasadnych z punktu widzenia przeznaczenia ocenianego produktu. Dlatego też zaproponowano komplementarne metody badań, w tym także starzeniowe, odpowiednie do oceny jakości folii stretch przeznaczonych do owijania balotów sianokiszonki. Ponadto, w pracy zawarto wyniki oceny porównawczej wyrobów wytworzonych z surowców pierwotnych oraz z recyklatów, pochodzących z rynku europejskiego. Stwierdzono, że odpowiednio prowadzony proces przetwarzania poużytkowej folii stretch z LLDPE pozwala na uzyskiwanie wysokiej jakości wyrobów, w ramach zamkniętej pętli recyklingu, o właściwościach konkurencyjnych do materiałów produkowanych z surowców natywnych. In this work we describe requirements and testing methods for thermoplastic stretch films based on polyolefin materials for wrapping round and square bales according to EN 14932:2018-02. Moreover, other alternative examination methods suitable for quality assurance of thermoplastic stretch films, including laboratory aging tests, are presented and the results of conducted analysis are in detail discussed. This paper also shows the results of comparative analysis conducted for films obtained from native and recycled polymers, available on the European market. We demonstrated that suitable recycling of used LLDPE films provides high quality recyclates. It enables production of thermoplastic films in a closed loop of recycling, exhibiting competitive parameters in comparison with products obtained from native polymers. (original abstract)
