- Abstract
- Przedstawiono stan opieki zdrowotnej w Polsce w ciągu ostatnich czterech lat a także wydatki i ich udział procent w PKB, a także porównanie Polski z innymi krajami wysoko rozwiniętymi. Przeanalizowano projekt reformy tej sfery usług społecznych.
The last years' decrease in real expenditure on national health care connected with financial difficulties of the state, plus limited access to medical services, high medical costs and soaring doctors' fees along with the increasing process of disintegration of national health care system have resulted in the feeling of uncertainty and the lack of security of the citizens. The following article concisely describes a current health care system functioning in Poland. Due to the comparisons with national health care system that are in other countries, the picture of the Polish one is very distinct. By pointing out those problems, the author analyses the possibilities of some changes of the present system taking into account the main aim of national health care system which is an activity leading to an improvement in the health of society.
