- Autor omówił możliwości zastosowania analizy technicznej w prognozowaniu, założenia dotyczące charakterystycznych cech rynku będące podstawą analizy technicznej (ceny, trendy i wzorce graficzne przebiegu kursu),jej instrumenty - charts - czyli wykresy cen w przeszłości (zależne i niezależne od upływającego czasu), linie podparcia i oporu. Najistotniejszym ograniczeniem tej metody jest bezpośredni dostęp do rynku. W warunkach polskich największe szanse mają pracownicy instytucji finansowych (banków) i wielkich przedsiębiorstw, w ktorych istnieją departamenty walutowe.
The paper shows how technical analysis, which has been proved on the stock exchange, may be useful in exchange rate forecasting. The analyst (almost) does not care about the underlying factors of the price change, because it seems to be impossible to consider all of them properly. Therefore he concentrates on the result of demand and supply on the price itself. Of course, there is no reasy prescription for extraordinary gains on the foreign exchange market. But the technical analysis is potentially a very convenient and useful tool of the market analysis and forecasting. (original abstract) - Accessibility
