European Economic Community (EEC) - Abstract
- Przedstawiono krótki rys historyczny regionalizacji gospodarki w krajach EWG, jej obecną politykę regionalną, instytucje finansowe utworzone dla wspomagania jej, a także konieczne zmiany tej polityki związane z przewidywanym wejściem do EWG krajów Europy Środkowo-Wschodniej.
In the paper, the author briefly presents the problems of current Common Market regional policy. The author stresses that a progressive international integration can lead to a greater regional imbalance. An effective regional policy on the EEC level is therefore necessary to provide a harmonious regional development and to avoid negative effects of the economic integration. In the article, the author describes the system of the Common Market aid to the legging regions, mechanism of the coordination of member states regional policies and mechanism of the coordination of the main policy areas in the EEC.
