Third World's countries - Abstract
- Przedstawiono posczególne czynniki determinujące rozwój małych wyspiarskich krajów Trzeciego Świata i na tym tle ukazano ich specyficzne problemy i bariery jakie napotykają na drodze do samodzielnego rozwoju (ubogie zasoby naturalne, niski poziom rozwoju, uzależnienie od warunków przyrodniczych, niewielka dywersyfikacja struktury gospdoarczej).
The purpose of this article is to present basic factors determining development of the small island countries of the Third World. Among many conditions of economic development, geographical factor is the most important one. Substantial distanse to the centre of economy together with necessity of participation in international trade are considerable development barriers. The above mentional situation is strangthened by small scale production, poor mineral resources, natural disasters. All these factors interact with each other. In case of this group of countries it may by stated that reasons are effects and effects are reasons of low development level.(original abstract) - Accessibility
