South Korea - Abstract
- Celem artykułu jest przybliżenie problematyki roli importu w rozwoju gospodarczym. Autor poddał analizie dane dotyczące wielkości i dynamiki koreańskiego importu, a także zmiany w strukturze importu i eksportu w ujęciu towarowym i geograficznym w latach 1960-1992. Porównał także dane dotyczące eksportu i importu w niektórych krajach azjatyckich.
The economic sucesses of South Korea, as well as the other countries in the south-eastern Asia constitute an evidence than foreign trade (including import) can become a significant economic growth factor. The general role of import in the economic growth has been characterised in the paper, as well as changes taking place in the Korean import during the country's dynamic development. Analysis of the data of the import quantities has been made likewise the changes in the import structure. The particular attention has been paid to changes in the goods structure of import, as the main objective of the paper was to determine the basic groups of goods than a country with a low level of industrialization should import to enter the way of quick economic growth.(original abstract) - Accessibility
