Abstract
Recesja obnażająca niedoskonałość systemów zarządzania nie powinna doprowadzać do utraty kluczowych pracowników firmy lub spadek ich motywacji. Dlatego niezwykle istotne jest budowanie lojalności i zaangażowania na każdym etapie pracy zawodowej, gdyż tylko lojalni pracownicy są w stanie budować lojalność klientów.

Functioning under the conditions of a recessive job market has led to a new quality of relation between employees and employers. Such issues as: a clear tendency towards economisation of employment, preferring short temporary job contracts and limiting funds on trainings result in the lack of sense of stabilisation, indentification with the company and it also determines new frames of the psychological contract. The results of questionnaires on attitudes towards work, which are reflected in loyalty and organisational engagement, have been discussed in the report. Every third person who took part in this enquiry admitted that they were ready and willing to leave the company. The major problem affecting the declarated loyalty and engagement is the dissatisfaction with the relationship with supervisors, their abuse of power, the social atmosphere, which is far from excellent as well as the lack of perspectives for development and promotion. Employers should bear in mind the fact that employees more rarely leave a company in which they do enjoy working, even if the salary is not the highest.(original abstract)
