- Artykuł dotyczy wpływu technologii informatycznych na generowanie zmian w funkcjonowaniu przedsiębiorstwa. Autor omawia tworzenie strategii TI i wdrażanie jej w przedsiębiorstwie. Przedstawia przykłady możliwych oddziaływań TI na poszczególne elementy organizacji, wyróżnione według modelu 7-S: struktura, systemy, strategia, style działania, personel, wartości i umiejętności.
The paper deals with the impact of Information Technology (IT) on corporate management at strategic as well as operational level. It provides holistic overview of IT in a company and indicates the need of creating appropriate IT strategy. The second part of the paper describes how IT can be used to help reshape a company and gives some examples of possible changes, classified according to the 7-S framework: structure, systems, strategy, style, staff, skills and shared values.
