Milk quotas were introduced in April 1984 as the reaction for the critical situation on the EU dairy market. Although the EC laid down the general rules for quota implementation, the effective implementation of the policy was left to the Member States. The study was finalised by creation of the Polish milk quota model, based on the EU experiences. The model sets the guota organisation in regions under a management of the Agricultural Market Agency. Regarding the quota turnover, it will be organised as well in regions of AMA. (original abstract) - Accessibility
