- Omówiono instrumenty polityki monetarnej, przebieg i wynik polityki makrofinansowej w latach dziewięćdziesiątych.
The 90's were a period of far-reaching social-economic changes. These changes embraced mainly actions in the field of monetary policy. Taken steps helped stabilize output, employment, and price level. Narodowy Bank Polski (Polish Central Bank) uses four major instruments of monetary policy: open-market operations, changing the reserve ratio, changing the discount rate and the rate of exchange. The 90's are also a period of rapidly developing financial markets. Development of financial sector in separate regions of Poland is very diversified because of historical premises, infrastructure and ability to adapt to new economic conditions.
