- Omówiono pojęcie klimatu społecznego jako atmosferę wzajemnych stosunków między poszczególnymi członkami grupy roboczej. W klimacie społecznym odzwierciedlają się wszystkie socjalne warunki pracy, które uwarunkowują postępowanie robocze członków grupy, przebieg i wyniki pracy.
The social climate is understood as a character (atmosphere) of the prevailing mutual relationships between individual members of a work team. The social climate reflects all social determinants of work which condition work actions of the team members, the course and results of business activity. The social climate is a certain condition of work, which reflects all matters which positively or negatively influence an individual, regardless whether the matters in question are business or private. A conflict brings about a number of negative emotional relationschips which weaken psychological and physical condition of the individual. The traditional opinion that conflicts are only harmful for a company has been overcome recently by the defense of unavoidable conflicts and underlining their positive impact on the employees' activity. On the contrary, under pluralistic opinion it is presumed that the absence of conflicts may be rather harmful for a company, as there is a danger of stagnation, which in the end leads to the drop of efficiency.
