- W artykule przeprowadzono na przykładzie artykułów żywnościowych analizę zmian cen w okresie przed i po wejściu Polski w struktury Unii Europejskiej. Wskazano, w jakim stopniu zmiany te były wynikiem akcesji do Unii, a na ile innych czynników.
The paper presents an analysis of food price changes in Poland during the period just before and just after Poland's accession into the European Union. It has also been indicated to what extent these changes were a result of accession rather than other factors. Poland's accession into the European Union was the impetus for a certain price raise. However, at the same time there were a lot of factors which directly or indirectly resulted in the food price increase. For a long time the countries affiliated with the European Union have been unifying their policy regarding prices. Prices of food items in Poland have been approaching the prices of other countries in the European Union since the end of 1980s. Although until now they have been at a much lower level, the difference is significantly smaller than just a few years ago. There is also a price variation of food items existing between the countries that have been in the European Union for a long time. (original abstract) - Accessibility
