- W artykule podjęto próbę spojrzenia na obecną sytuację gospodarczą w Polsce w kontekście zbliżającej się integracji z Unią Europejską. Omówiono obawy polskich przedsiębiorstw związane z integracją. Przedstawiono wymianę handlową Polski z UE w 1998 r. Wskazuje ona na słabość polskiej gospodarki.
The article aims at providing an overview of Poland's current economic situation in the light of the impending integration with the European Community. Market economy has been present in Polish reality for ten years and, although is has added substantially to the economic development, it has not been enough to prepare Polish firms for equal competition with foreign companies. The prospects of the EU membership promote the competition, however, a closer analysis reveals the weaknesses and leads to the conclusion that improving the competitiveness of Polish economy depends to a large extent on attracting foreign investors.(original abstract) - Accessibility
