The reform in the health protection sector has brought a lot of discussion. The cost of services become one of the most important economic and public policy issues in Poland. The article present conditions and possibilities of commercializing health care services. Consideration concern the follwing issues: - conditions and limits of commercializing health care services, - principles and criteria of differentiating payments for them.
