- Treść referatu to próba odpowiedzi na kolejne pytania: czym jest infrastruktura (a dokładniej infrastruktura techniczna), co oznacza to pojęcie i jakie są jej związki z rolnictwem?
Infractructure plays a greater and greater role in developed agriculture which is related to other sections of the economy, especially to industry. Agriculture cannot do without the principal elements of agriculture. As for the production sectors, a significant function is performed by the technical infrastructure which includes energetic supply (electric energy, gas), water management together with water supply devices, sewage system with land reclamation as well as transportation facilities, turnover of goods and telecommunications. The economic importance of the technical infrastructure lies in its influencing the proper course of the production processes and the level of the production and its contribution to the development of this sector of the economy and the region. At present, the demand of agriculture for different kinds of facilities and devices which are necessary for the proper functioning of the production process is growing bigger. The more developed this sector of the economy gets, the more "industralized" and trade-oriented agriculture becomes, the more energy, fuels, service workshops, warehouses, good quality roads and other infrastructure objects and devices it needs. The range of this infrastructure must get extended proportionally in relation to the development of industry. It even should get ahead of this development. The efficient functioning of institutions, objects and all the facilities of infrastructure is necessary for the proper course of the agricultural production process and its efficiency.
