- Przedstawiono prognozy dotyczących warunków rozwoju usług rynkowych do 2000 roku. Przedmiotem zainteresowania były zarówno popytowe, jak i podażowe uwarunkowania zmian w zakresie podstawowych usług (konserwacyjno-naprawczych, mieszkaniowych, usług związanych z ubiorem i higieną) obsługujących gospodarstwa domowe i odbiorców zbiorowych, a zakupowanych dotychczas na rynku na zasadzie dobrowolnego wyboru. W opinii autora, uwypuklenie szans i zagrożeń w dziedzinie popytu na usługi oraz możliwości jego zaspokojenia w polskiej gospodarce, mogłoby mieć szczególne znaczenie dla poszczególnych ogniw decydujących, formułujących i realizujących strategie rozwoju usług.
The article is an attempt to analyze the anticipated conditions of rendering the services in Poland in the 1990's. It points to the chances and dangers inherent in a number of factors creating the demand and to the possibilities of satisfying this demand. The anticipated variants of the basic indexes of the socio-economic development point to a rather slow rate of the consumption growth, which can mean the limited possibilities of positive transformations in the sphere of the services. On the other hand, the anticipated demographic situation in the 1990's and labour market will have a stimulating effect on the demand for services and their supply.
