Abstract
W artykule przedstawiono strategię zarządzania przedsiębiorstwem, polegająca na wprowadzeniu zarządzania zorientowanego na kreowanie wartości przedsiębiorstwa, co staje sie pierwszym celem kierownictwa przedsiebiorstwa.

The purpose of the present study is to present the essence and the most important elements of value based management. That value is first of all determined by so-called free cash flow generated by a firm. The first part presents the philosophy and main premises which induce the managers to the introduction of value based management. Next, the very process of management through value creation is characterized, while the final part lists the advanteges won by the firm and the shareholders thanks to the presented technology of management.
