- Przystępując do badania zmian zachodzących w konsumpcji gospodarstw domowych, należy brać pod uwagę trzy najważniejsze grupy czynników, do których zalicza się: czynniki ekonomiczne, czynniki demograficzne i czynniki społeczne. W artykule autorzy zajmują się czynnikami demograficznymi, ponieważ są one uważane za najważniejsze po czynnikach ekonomicznych, do których są zaliczane dochody i ceny dóbr. Uwzględnienie czynników demograficznych w funkcjach popytu konsumpcyjnego jest uzasadnione m.in. dlatego, że we współczesnych społeczeństwach obserwuje się tendencje do spadku liczebności gospodarstw domowych. Nie ulega wątpliwości, że liczba osób w gospodarstwie wpływa bezpośrednio na wielkość jego wydatków na l osobę, ma również wpływ na wysokość dochodów na l członka gospodarstwa. Ważnym czynnikiem mającym wpływ na wielkość i strukturę wydatków gospodarstwa domowego jest zróżnicowanie pod względem wieku i płci jego członków.
In their article, the authors present the role of demographical factors when surveying the changes occurring in households' consumption depending on their socioeconomic group. Consideration of the demographical variables in the functions of consumer demand is, inter alia, justified by that in the contemporary societies there are observed tendencies towards decreasing the number of members of the households, and there is no doubt that the number of members of the household affects directly volume of expenditure. An important factor that affects the volume and pattern of household's expenditure is also diversification in terms of gender and age of its members. - Accessibility
