- Przedstawiono 7 strategii postępowania posiadaczy gospodarstw rolnych w latach 1996-2002 oraz pozostałe formy aktywności gospodarstw rolnych. Analizą objęto wszystkie gospodarstwa rolne istniejące w badanym okresie w kraju. (oryg. streszcz.)
The article concern analysis of phenomenes and processes, which appeared in the years 1996-2002 in the various groups of the Polish agricultural farms. The farms having with area more than 1 hectare of agricultural land were analyzed. Groups of agricultural farms were distributed by different strategies used by their holders. The differences were analyzed, which had place among separated group of farms, as well as in the same group of farms in the years 1996-2002. The empirical dates for analysis were provided by national agricultural census conducted in the years 1996 and 2002. It was affirmed that agricultural farms in the analyzed period continued adaptation process, which were initiated at the turn of the eighties last century with the change of socio-economic system. Part of farms disappeared, other farms stopped practicing agricultural production, and their holders were looking for other sources of incomes. The other farms were practiced only subsistence farming and also were looking for other sources of incomes. On the other hand there were farms, which increased and modernized their production potential. Part of holders, and members of their families, were developed non-agricultural commercial activities.
