- W artykule omówiono genezę powstania oraz pojęcie i zasady organizacyjne i prawne funkcjonowania Europejskiego Systemu Statystycznego (ESS). Szczególną uwagę zwrócono na wysiłki zmierzające do zwiększenia skuteczności działania ESS oraz na inicjatywną rolę, jaką odgrywa w tej dziedzinie Konferencja Kierowników Krajowych Urzędów Statystycznych (DGINS). Dużo miejsca poświęcono w artykule omówieniu materiałów 92. Konferencji DGINS w Krakowie, której temat dotyczył "Zwiększenia efektywności funkcjonowania Europejskiego Systemu Statystycznego". Omówiono także program realizacji wniosków wynikających z przedstawionych materiałów oraz dyskusji na konferencji krakowskiej. (abstrakt oryginalny)
In this paper the genesis of formation, the notion the legal and organizational principles of European Statistical System (ESS) functioning has been discussed. The particular attention has been taken to the efforts directed to the efficiency of ESS increasing activity and to the initiative role, which is played by the Conference of the Directors-General of the National Statistical Institutes (DGINS). This paper also focuses on the description of proceedings coming from the 92 DIGINS Conference, which was held in Cracow. The theme of the Conference was "Making the system work". The programme of findings realization arising from presented materials and from the discussion on Cracow Conference has been also discussed. (original abstract) - Dostępne w
