Abstrakt
Wzmagająca się nieprzewidywalność otoczenia oraz jego wymogów ma swoje odniesienia do problematyki edukacji związanej z przygotowywaniem przyszłych kadr menedżerskich. Zdaniem autorki, dotychczasowa koncepcja profesjonalizmu i kompetencji wymaga krytycznej analizy, celem jej przewartościowania i przedefiniowania. W artykule omawia kompetencje jako głęboko osadzony i szeroko uwarunkowany potencjał ludzki. Nakreśla kompetencje, jakie powinien posiadać menedżer w przyszłości. Przedstawia tożsamość kulturową jednostki jako bazę jej społecznych kompetencji.

Increasing changes in all spheres of life, including the sphere of business and the growing unpredictability of the environment and its requirements, make it difficult to precisely specify competences that should be associated with a function of being a manager. However, it appears that this function to a considerable degree depends also on a general level of one's own potential, including a possessed social competence. So the stress here is put not so much on his specific skills, but first of all on his abilities to increase and stimulate among his workers such behaviors and to extract from them such competences that would be adequate to the needs of this specific corporation.
