- W artykule dokonano przeglądu francuskich inwestycji w Polsce, a także omówiono badania dotyczące wzajemnego postrzegania współpracy gospodarczej w sektorze strategicznym przez Francuzów i Polaków.
At the end of 2001 total amount of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in Poland reached almost $ 57 billion. In the country breakdown of the largest foreign investors France was the leader. However, as the research conducted the same year revealed, public opinion in both France and Poland had limited knowledge of each other, thus in each country the image of the counterpart appeared to be founded on stereotypes. Moreover, as another research demonstrated, the attitudes of the social actors (management, labour unions and the employees "en masse" as well) towards foreign investors in the strategic sectors of Polish economy, where there numerous French-based companies deeply involved, remained quite reluctant.
