- Abstrakt
- Przedstawiono klasyfikację akcyjnych funduszy inwestycyjnych funkcjonujących na polskim rynku finansowym przy zastosowaniu sztucznej sieci neuronowej typu SOM. Zaprezentowane fundusze inwestycyjne, różnią się między sobą w zakresie preferencji i ryzyka inwestycyjnego, cechują się odrębnymi stylami inwestowania oraz różnym poziomem efektywności inwestycyjnej.
In this work, we have explored the capabilities of self-organizing maps (SOM) for the analysis and representation of financial data. For this purpose, SOM-type Neural Network has been applied in classification shares investment funds, using real data form the Polish economy. The analyse is conducting on the basis of financial data concerning investment funds, surveyed considering 7 variables. As a result it received 6 groups of shares investment funds. Then the analyse of investment funds grouping in separate classes was conducted. We take the view that self-organizing maps are a very interesting tool for studying the information contained in capital markets in general and complete financial decision-making system.
