- Pojęcie outsourcingu pochodzi od angielskiego wyrażenia outside resource using, które oznacza wykorzystanie zasobów zewnętrznych. Omówiono istotę i cele outsourcingu. Przedstawiono jego rodzaje oraz obszary zastosowań w odniesieniu do obu rodzaju organizacji komercyjnej i instytucji publicznej. Na koniec przedstawiono korzyści i zagrożenia związane z różnymi funkcjami transferu do organizacji zewnętrznych, ze szczególnym naciskiem na proces offshoringu, który jest nieuniknioną konsekwencją outsourcingu.
In this article, the author identifies the conditions governing the development of outsourcing in the context of an in-depth analysis of the concept, essential characteristics, and goals of outsourcing. She also characterises the types of outsourcing and its modern areas of application in relation to both commercial organisations and public institutions. The article concludes with a presentation of the benefits and dangers of transferring various functions to external organisations, with particular emphasis on the process of offshoring, which is an unavoidable consequence of outsourcing.
