The specific characters of agriculture and connected to it surrounding case separation rural banking from general banking sector. It mostly based on the system of co-operative banks. Banking structure and organisations were presented both in Poland and selected UE countries, such: Germany, France, Netherlands, Austria and Spain. The analyses of European models allow improving the banking system. The model of Polish co-operative banking system should bring closer to double-level, Dutch model. This model based on single co-operative structure with clear autonomy of individual co-operative banks in their separated territory. (original abstract) - Dostępne w
