- Praca jest przeglądem literatury przedmiotu. Przedstawia wady tradycyjnych metod oczyszczania ścieków z metali ciężkich, przede wszystkim, ścieków zanieczyszczonych tymi metalami. Wykazano szkodliwość zatruć metalami ciężkimi, wraz z głównymi źródłami zanieczyszczeń. Przedstawiono aktualny stan nauki na temat bioadsorbentów i technik wykorzystujących biomasę. (streszcz. oryg.)
The article is a literature review. It shows the drawbacks of traditional wastewater treatment, heavy metal polluted wastewater in particular. The dangers of heavy metal poisoning have been reported together with main sources of pollution. The current studies on bioadsorbents and techniques involving biomass were presented.
