- Celem niniejszego artykułu, jest scharakteryzowanie innowacyjnego produktu finansowego, jakim jest ETF (Exchange-Traded Funds), przeanalizowanie możliwości, jakie oferuje inwestorom, jak również próba zidentyfikowania przynależnego mu miejsca na polskim rynku finansowym. (fragment tekstu)
Despite the dynamic growth of the American market of the Exchange- Traded Funds whose certificates have been quoted in New York for 16 years, a lot of investors lack the understanding of their operations. Moreover, most investors are not able to properly use the funds in building up their portfolio investment. Recently, there has been a lot of discussion among the Polish investors regarding the development of the Polish market of the Exchange-Traded Funds. Even the Polish Financial Supervision Authority expressed its opinion on that matter. The stance of the Warsaw's Stock Exchange is straightforward - the stock is interested in enabling the recording of such investment vehicles. The new Act on Trading in Financial Instruments, which was introduced in September 2009, has given legal possibilities of creating (ETF) market. One question worth asking now is whether the Polish investors are ready for the creation of that market. Most importantly, is it going to be as successful as its counterpart in New York or London?
