- Omówiono główne założenia reformy nadzoru finansowego w UE opracowane przez Komisję Europejską. Scharakteryzowano Europejską Strukturą Nadzorczą, składająca się z Europejskiej Rady ds. Ryzyka Systemowego (ERRS) oraz Europejskiego Systemu Organów Nadzoru Finansowego (ESONF).
2009 saw the beginnings of the reform of financial control, a continuation of Lamfalussy's procedures overview conducted in the years before. The financial crisis led the member states to take more radical measures in order to increase the effectiveness of supervision over trans-border financial groups in the EU. The reform of the structure of financial control of the EU began with the appointment by the European Commission in November 2008 of the High Level Group on financial supervision. In February 2009 it published a report mapping out the chief directions of the reform, that is establishing an institution responsible for macro-prudential supervision to fill the institution gap, and transforming third level committees into European Supervisory Authorities with the power to undertake actions binding for national supervisory organs.
