- W artykule omówiono dostępne wskaźniki jakości życia. Wyodrębniono również w tych wskaźnikach badane aspekty jakości życia. Przedstawiono ranking państw Unii Europejskiej w 2000 roku i 2005 roku według badanych wskaźników. Obserwując zmiany w rankingach z perspektywy czasu, można zauważyć jedynie nieznaczne zmiany pozycji, tylko między sąsiadującymi w zestawieniu państwami. Poza tym nie widać żadnych charakterystycznych zmian w kształtowaniu się miejsc w rankingu, w szczególności - w grupie nowych państw Unii.(fragment tekstu)
The available indexes of the quality of life are discussed in the article. The researched aspects of the quality of life have been distinguished and stressed within the applied indexes. The 2000 and 2005 EU country members rankings according to the indexes in question have been shown. Due to the lack of data, other indexes have been applied in the ranking for the years in question. However, following the changes in the ranking, one may observe regularities concerning changes of ranking positions only for pairs of countries. Apart from that, no distinctive changes in the development of the ranking positions of the individual new EU country members can be observed.(original abstract) - Pełny tekst
