Growth in postponement and and speculations is partially reflect of the external orientation of the supply chain striving for an improvement of customer service. Nowadays, customers require more individualized products meeteng their refined needs. In order to enhance product offerings, many organizations are altering their supply chains to accomodate a mass customization concepts in practice. Persiving postopnement and speculation as inventory strategy stems from the search for improving performed logistics and manufacturing activities in whole supply chain. (fragment tekstu)
