- Autor przedstawia swoje rozważania na temat szans reformy ekonomicznej, a ściślej jej tzw. drugiego etapu, przypadającego na lata 1987-1988, którego animatorem był Zdzisław Sadowski.
The author discusses the main principles, chances and difficulties of realization of the economic reform in 1987-88, the principal animator of which was Zdzisław Sadowski, deputy prime minister in the government of Zbigniew Messner, in charge of economic reform. His "Theses concerning the 2nd stage of reform" proved a considerable progress, compared with the government program of reform of 1981-82: this time the matter was not only of extending the scope of the market, but also of introducing of plurality of ownership forms. However, the progress in the "reformative imagination" was accompanied by very modest, inconsistent or even contradicting the program, practical proceedings of authorities harassed by internal conflicts or having little social support.
