The modern world cannot do without energy. Dynamic development of civilization has caused, that the need for energy is huge. In the fertilizer industry, its share of to costs of the production amounts to even a 70%. The ceramics industry is also marked by a great energy consumption. Costs of the electric energy constitute from 7 up to the 10% of total costs of production of products, however the thermal energy acquired from the natural gas is being shaped on level 25-30%. One of the major problems the producers of ceramic products are systematically becoming more expensive, both energy carriers electricity and gas. The article describes of the process of selection of the monitoring system of the electricity consumption in the newly built establishment of ceramic tiles. Inspired to action became implemented a few years ago in a production of façade brick program .SKADEN. which is used for comprehensive analysis of electricity consumption data. It also uses the .Guardian of the contractual power. which controls the average active power absorbed and signals or control exclusion devices in order to avoid exceeding the contractual electricity power. Thanks to that they more rationally are managing the electric energy what is being transferred into great financial gains reaching several dozen thousand zlotys in the scale of the month.
