Abstrakt
The purpose of this paper is to identify and evaluate the directions for the modernisation of the internal market of the European Union in the context of regulations provided by the Treaty of Lisbon of 13 December 2007, and other programmes of changes within market regulation pertaining to 2007-2013. The Treaty as well as the programmes concerning the development of a uniform internal market of the EU heralds the changes within the regulatory framework of enterprises functioning on the European market. That kind of background is - apart from all social and cultural prerequisites - the crucial discriminating feature of corporate functioning within the European space and European economy. All the elements of missions and objectives of the EU and the methods of their implementation, as defined by the Treaty of Lisbon (art. 2), revert to economy, market and marketing. In this way they are related significantly to the provisions and the structure of modernisation of the European market. The ensuing analysis is selective; it is focused only on those issues that pose directly new challenges and prerequisites for euromarketing and European business, and that revert to the problem defined in the title, as well as the Conference provisions.
