Ciechanów Voivodeship - Abstrakt
- Tereny otaczające wielkomiejskie aglomeracje pełnią rolę uzupełniającą wobec dużego miasta. Na ogół są one źródłem zasilającym aglomeracje w zasoby pracy poprzez codzienne przepływy bądź stałe migracje. Jednakże każde z miast tkwi w pewnej przestrzeni społeczno-ekonomicznej i między miastem a tą, najbliższą i dalszą przestrzenią zachodzą pewne relacje ujawniające się w przepływach ludności. Badanie tych relacji - które jest celem niniejszej pracy prowadzi do udzielenia odpowiedzi na kilka pytań.
Ciechanowskie Voivodeship is situated in the neighbourhood of large Warsaw agglomeration, it is also under the influence of Gdańsk agglomeration. Authors analysed population migratory flows for towns of Ciechanowskie Voivodeship and the agglome-rations surrounding it, at the same time they follow the local scale of these connections in years 1976-1987. They analysed reciprocal flows among the towns of Ciechanowskie Voivodeship and urban and rural areas. Another stream of studies consists in the analysis of structures of sex, age, marital status and education of migrants. The research works indicate, that the towns of Ciechanowskie Voivodeship play an intermediate role in population migrations. They receive rural population from its closests neighbourhood, and they lose population to larger towns, and predominantly Warsaw and Gdańsk agglomerations. Towns of Ciechanowskie Voivodeship gained principally young rural population, aged 1-9, 20-29, and lost population aged 20-29 to other towns. Spatial analysis of migration proved the growth of population flows within Ciechanowskie Voivodeship and the reduction of role of large agglomerations. However generally, changes in the spatial structure of population migration in towns under consideration in years 1976-1987 were not significant, which results from their position in the all-Polish system of settlement.
