- Przedstawione niżej propozycje analityczne i planistyczne zostały opracowane przede wszystkim w odniesieniu do potrzeb społecznych, które mogą być: rozpoznawane statystycznie i empirycznie oraz ujmowane w planach społeczno-gospodarczych. Spełnienie tych dwóch warunków uściśla zakres analizy. Analiza obejmuje potrzeby racjonalne.
Detection and satisfying social needs is one of the basic aims of social policy, hence the cathegory of social needs has become the subject to receive attention from science and practice. This interest applies to both, theoretical aspects of the notion and the classification of needs and methods of their recognition, and practical utilization of scientific revelations in the course of satisfying social needs. Hence, two important questions arise, i.e.: In what way can the range of social needs be revealed and defined? In what way they can and should be satisfied? Author makes attempts to answer these questions, concentrating on the definition of various cathegories of needs, their formulation in relation with the stages of personal and family life, methods of projecting social needs and their formulation within socio-economic projects. Stressing the need for closer binding of results of research works with the current projecting activities, author presents the general scheme of this cooperation and the methods for reflecting its results in planning.
