Abstrakt
W opracowaniu omówiono korzystne działanie probiotyków na zdrowie człowieka, a szczególnie ich rolę w ograniczaniu ryzyka chorób cywilizacyjnych, takich jak nowotwory, otyłość, alergie. Oddzielny rozdział poświęcono bezpieczeństwu stosowania (spożywania) produktów probiotycznych. (abstrakt oryginalny)

Beneficial effects of probiotics on human health were discussed in this paper, and, in particular, their role in reducing risks of civilization diseases, such as: tumours, obesity, allergies. A separate chapter was devoted to the safety aspects of using (consuming) probiotic products. (original abstract)
