Abstrakt
Wzrastająca niepewność otoczenia łańcuchów dostaw oraz zakłócenia pojawiąjące się w obszarze relacji z dostawcami i odbiorcami oznaczają dla przedsiębiorstw konieczność koncentrowania się nie tylko na prewencji wobec ryzyka, ale również na strategiach reagowania na nieprzewidziane zdarzenia niepożądane, w tym zmiany w obszarze dostaw i popytu. Umiejętność budowania elastycznych łańcuchów dostaw stanowi dzisiaj kluczowy element radzenia sobie ze zmianami w otoczeniu. Celem artykułu jest zaprezentowanie zagadnienia elastycznych łańcuchów dostaw i działań z zakresu zapewniania ciągłości procesów realizowanych w relacjach z segmentami dostawców dóbr strategicznych, dźwigni i wąskich gardeł, a także przedstawienie wyników przeprowadzonego w Polsce pod koniec 2013 roku badania ankietowego. Postawiono hipotezę, że przedsiębiorstwa zapewniają elastyczność w reagowaniu na zakłócenia występujące w łańcuchach dostaw głównie poprzez stosowanie buforów zapasów. Wyniki badania wskazują jednak, że na pierwszym miejscu znajdują się także inne działania/strategie, jak: posiadanie awaryjnych dostawców czy otwarte dzielenie się informacją(abstrakt oryginalny)

Increasing uncertainty of the supply chains' environment and supplier-buyer relationships mean for enterprises the necessity of concentrating not only on the prevention against the disruptions, but also on strategies of responding to unforeseen changes in the area of supply and demand. The main aim of the paper is to desrcibe the issue of the flexible supply chains. The ability of building flexible supply chains is today a key element of coping with crisis situations. The article desribes the issue of the flexible supply chains and activities in the field of ensuring the continuity of flow processes in relationship with suppliers of the strategic,bottlenecks, leverage and non-critical items. It also presents the results of a late 2013 survey in Poland. The hypothesis is that enterprises supply chain flexibility mainly through the use of buffer stocks. The results show that among the activities carried out by the companies to ensure the flexibility in responding to supply chain disruptions in the first place are: having emergency suppliers, increasing safety stocks, and sharing information with partners actively(original abstract)
