Abstrakt
W niniejszej pracy sukces ChRL analizowany jest z perspektywy udziału Chin w międzynarodowej wymianie handlowej, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem handlu zagranicznego, zwłaszcza że nadal otwarte pozostaje pytanie o jego rolę we wzroście gospodarczym Państwa Środka. Rozprawa stanowi tym samym głos w dyskusji, która od lat toczy się wśród badaczy gospodarek Azji Wschodniej. Za główny cel pracy przyjęto więc określenie roli, jaką eksport i import pełnią we wzroście gospodarczym Państwa Środka. Podstawowym wyzwaniem pracy jest zatem empiryczna analiza wielkości, dynamiki i struktury eksportu oraz importu, pozwalająca na ocenę zakresu spełnienia ich podstawowych funkcji we wzroście gospodarczym ChRL.
