The purpose of the paper is an examination of the concept of corporate social responsibility. The specific objectives include: 1) analysis of the evolution of the concept of CSR and its evaluation by corporations, 2) classification of CSR conceptual framework and a review of standpoints referring to the importance of CSR in practice. In order to achieve these targets, comparative analysis and critical analysis of the literature are used. Conducted analysis allows noticing that growing interest in CSR and mounting the number of research on this issue have not translated into simplifying its conceptual framework. On the contrary, this framework has become even more complicated and confusing. As a result, the term "corporate social responsibility" has become more ambiguous and vague(original abstract) - Dostępne w
